Hello,

I recently applied to several loan companies. And unfortunately I've
been refused by them all. Apparently, it was due to "wrong CCJ"
appearing on my files. (I am in the proces of removing it).

Anyway, today, I received a letter from Wentworth Direct Finance,
based in Gravesend, Kent.

"Dear....
We are pleased to inform you that your loan of ........ repayable over
60 months has been approved by our underwriting department and will be
forwarded to one of our lenders.

Our broker's fee for processing your loan will be £48. Please send
your fee by cheque or postal order payable to Wentworth Direct Finance
together with the loan approval form below and we shall process your
loan application immediately.

One we receive your loan approval form, the lenders will be in contact
with you directly. Your consent signature will be required on all loan
agreement documents.

Payment protection is also available if required.

If we require any further details we shall be in contact with you.

Yours....

exactly, plus you probably pay them £48, then your loan gets turned down by
the loan company

Its a scam, they take your cash and send your details to loads of loan
companies... I fell for that, in the end I went

to Welcome Finance, I managed to get a £3000 loan over 3 years for £160 p/m

Are you sure you meant that?
You are paying 3 x 12 x £160 = £5,760 for a £3,000 loan?

The interest rate for that is over 61% !!
